These terms apply to purchases from the Umoona Opal Mine & Museum online store, run by Troisi Opals (ABN 35 383 628 294), 14 Hutchison St, Coober Pedy SA 5723.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping is added at checkout (see Shipping & Returns). Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order. If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we'll contact you and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Your order
Your order is accepted once payment is complete and you receive our confirmation email. Most pieces are one of a kind: if a piece sells out before your payment completes, we'll cancel that item and refund you in full.
About natural opal
Opal is a natural stone, so every piece is unique. We photograph each piece ourselves, but colour and play-of-colour can look different on different screens and in different light. Stone sizes are approximate. Every opal piece comes with a certificate of guarantee. Doublet and triplet opals are thin slices of natural opal backed (and, for triplets, capped) for strength; this is stated on each listing.
Delivery, returns and your rights
Delivery and returns are covered on our Shipping & Returns page. We don't offer change-of-mind returns or exchanges. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
