Teardrop triplet opal pendant with an 8mm x 5mm stone, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver. Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so yours will differ from the photo.

This pendant features a teardrop-shaped triplet opal with a smooth, softly domed outline, held in a slim bezel setting in gold plated sterling silver. The rounded base of the teardrop narrows to a gentle point at the top, where the bezel flows into a small bail so the pendant hangs neatly from a chain.

A triplet opal is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark layer and capped with clear quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and gives the stone a glassy, domed finish. Triplets are known for showing bright flashes of play of colour against their dark backing, and they are a light, durable and affordable way to wear opal.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo.
