Triplet opal pendant with a 5mm round stone in a bezel setting, in gold plated sterling silver. Every opal is hand-selected, so yours will differ from the photo.

This pendant features a 5mm round triplet opal in a bezel setting, where a smooth metal rim surrounds the stone. Above it, the metalwork curves into a flowing, looped neck that leads to an open oval bail at the top.

A triplet opal is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark layer and capped with clear quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and adds depth. Triplets are known for flashes of colour that move and change as the pendant catches the light. They are not solid opal.
