Pair of triplet opal stud earrings with 6mm x 4mm pear-shaped stones in bezel settings, in sterling silver. Each opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

These stud earrings feature a pear-shaped triplet opal in each earring, each stone measuring 6mm x 4mm. A triplet is made from a very thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the delicate opal slice and helps deepen the colour. Triplet opals are known for their vivid play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift as the stone moves in the light.
