Oval triplet opal pendant in sterling silver with a bezel setting and a polished bail. Stone size 8mm x 6mm. Each opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This oval pendant is set with a triplet opal measuring 8mm x 6mm. A triplet is made from a thin slice of precious opal backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and gives the stone a glossy, domed finish. Triplets are known for bright flashes of play of colour against a dark background.

Every opal in this style is hand-selected and unique. The colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, so each pendant has its own character.

The pendant is crafted in sterling silver. A smooth, polished bezel surrounds the oval stone and holds it securely.
