Oval triplet opal pendant in sterling silver with an open, looping setting. The hand-selected stone measures 8mm x 6mm, and every opal is unique.

This pendant pairs an oval triplet opal with a graceful sterling silver setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark layer and capped with a clear dome of quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and deepens its colour, and triplets are known for lively flashes of play of colour. The stone is 8mm x 6mm.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique. The colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, so each pendant is a little different.

The oval stone sits in a smooth, polished sterling silver setting. Flowing silver loops curve around and above the opal in an open, ribbon-like design. A looped bail at the top lets the pendant hang from a chain. This pendant comes from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
