Oval triplet opal pendant in sterling silver with a looped, curving frame. The hand-selected stone measures 8mm x 6mm, and its colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant pairs an oval triplet opal with a flowing sterling silver setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of precious opal backed with a dark base and capped with a layer of clear quartz or glass. The cap gives a smooth, domed, glossy surface and helps protect the delicate opal beneath. Triplet opal is known for its vivid play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour move across the stone as it catches the light.

Every opal we set in this style is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The stone measures 8mm x 6mm and is cut as a neat oval.

The oval opal sits in a smooth bezel-style setting, with the silver surround curving out in graceful, looping lines on either side.
