Oval triplet opal pendant in sterling silver with a bezel-style setting and a loop bail. Stone size 8mm x 6mm. Each opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern differ from the photo.

This pendant features an oval triplet opal, 8mm x 6mm, held in a smooth sterling silver setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and gives the stone a glassy, domed finish. Triplets are known for bright play of colour, with flashes of colour that shift as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal we set in this style is hand-selected and unique. The colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, so you can expect your own individual play of colour.

The oval stone sits in a polished silver surround. Small decorative metal details cross over the top of the setting, just below a neat bail. The bail is shaped as an open loop, so the pendant can hang from a chain of your choice.
