This pendant pairs an oval triplet opal with a flowing, sculpted setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark layer to deepen the colour and capped with clear quartz or glass for protection. This construction is known for showing lively play of colour, with flashes that shift as the stone moves in the light. Because it is layered, it is a triplet and not a solid opal.

Every opal we set is hand-selected, so each pendant is unique. The colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, which shows the design of the piece only. The stone measures 8mm x 6mm.

The oval stone sits in a smooth bezel setting, with the metal wrapping around its edge.
