Oval triplet opal pendant with a 7mm x 5mm stone, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver with a crossover bail. Every opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern vary.

This pendant pairs an oval triplet opal with a clean, classic setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the delicate opal and the dark backing helps the play of colour stand out, which is why triplets are known for their lively flashes of colour. The stone is 7mm x 5mm.

The oval stone is bezel set, with a smooth metal rim running around its edge to hold it securely. Above it, a crossover twist in the metalwork forms the bail and adds a graceful detail.
