Triplet opal pendant with a hand-selected 7mm x 5mm oval stone in a swirling bezel setting of gold plated sterling silver. Each opal is unique, so colours and pattern differ from the photo.

This pendant pairs a 7mm x 5mm oval triplet opal with a flowing, open-work setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of precious opal, backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the delicate opal and helps bring out the flashes of colour that opal is loved for, which move and shift as the light changes.

Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of your stone will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the pendant only.

The oval stone sits in a smooth bezel, with fine curved bands of metal looping around it in a graceful swirl. A sweeping curved bail rises from the top of the setting and flows into the design. The piece is made in gold plated sterling silver.
