Oval triplet opal pendant, stone size 7mm x 5mm, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver with open curved side details. Every opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant features an oval, smooth-domed triplet opal measuring 7mm x 5mm, held in a neat bezel setting. A triplet is made from a thin slice of natural opal backed with a dark base and capped with clear quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and gives the stone a glossy, domed finish. Triplets are known for bright flashes of play of colour that move and shift as the pendant catches the light.

Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The design is a standard style from our range, made many times over, with each piece set with its own individual stone.

The gold plated sterling silver setting surrounds the oval stone with a smooth bezel rim. Open, curved arms rise on either side of the stone and meet a small loop above it. A polished bail at the top lets the pendant hang freely from a chain. The piece comes from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
