Oval triplet opal pendant with a 7mm x 5mm stone, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver. Every opal is hand-selected, so its colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant features an oval triplet opal, 7mm x 5mm, set in a smooth bezel of gold plated sterling silver. The bezel wraps the edge of the stone in a continuous polished rim, which keeps the opal secure and frames its gentle domed outline. A small loop joins the setting to a tapered, polished bail.

A triplet opal is made from a thin slice of natural opal, backed with a dark base and capped with a layer of clear quartz or glass. The cap protects the delicate opal layer, and triplets are known for their vivid play of colour, with flashes of colour that shift and change as the stone moves in the light. This is a triplet, not a solid opal.

Every opal we use is hand-selected and unique, so the stone you receive won't be the one in the photo. Its colours and pattern will differ.
