These drop earrings pair a small oval triplet opal with a clean, open teardrop frame in sterling silver. The stone sits low in the base of the teardrop, held in a smooth bezel setting. A triplet opal is made from a thin slice of natural opal that is backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass.
