Camel-shaped sterling silver pendant set with a 4mm round triplet opal. Each opal is hand-selected and unique, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant is a silver camel in profile, with a 4mm round triplet opal set at the centre of its body. The camel stands with its head raised and its legs apart, and the outline is a simple cut-out silhouette. The metalwork has a polished finish. A small round jump ring links the camel to a bail at the top, which is where a chain passes through.

A triplet opal is a thin slice of natural opal backed with a dark base and capped with a clear layer of quartz or glass. The cap protects the opal and gives it a glassy shine. Triplets are known for bright play of colour, where flashes of colour move across the stone as it catches the light.
