Hand-selected solid opal teardrop pendant, 8mm x 5mm (small), in a bezel setting of gold plated sterling silver. Each opal is unique, so yours will differ from the photo.

This small pendant features a solid opal cut in a classic teardrop shape, with a rounded base that tapers to a point at the top. Solid opal is natural opal cut and polished from a single piece, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that move and change as the stone catches the light.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the pendant only.

The stone sits in a smooth bezel setting, where a thin band of metal wraps around the edge of the opal. A neat bail at the top lets the pendant hang freely. It is made in gold plated sterling silver. The pendant in the photo hangs from a fine curb-style chain.
