Pair of sterling silver drop earrings set with 7mm x 5mm teardrop solid opals. Each opal is hand-selected and unique, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

These drop earrings pair a pear-shaped teardrop solid opal with a simple sterling silver setting. Each stone measures 7mm x 5mm and is held in a smooth bezel that follows the teardrop outline, with the point of the stone facing downwards.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light. Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stones you receive will differ from those in the photo.

Above each opal, a slim silver bar hangs from a small round ball stud, giving the earrings a light, elegant drop. They are sold as a pair and come from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
