Round bezel-set solid opal pendant in sterling silver on a curb chain, with a 6mm round stone. Each opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern differ from the photo.

This simple, classic pendant pairs a 6mm round solid opal with a polished sterling silver setting. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap, so the colour you see runs right through the stone. Opal of this kind is known for its play of colour, where flashes of colour shift and change as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique. The colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, which is shown to illustrate the design of the pendant only.

The round stone is held in a smooth bezel setting, a thin band of metal that wraps around the edge of the opal. It hangs from a polished, teardrop-shaped bail, which slides onto a fine sterling silver curb chain. The result is a clean, understated piece for everyday wear. It comes from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
