A 6mm round solid opal in a bezel-set pendant of gold plated sterling silver. Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so its colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This simple round pendant features a 6mm solid opal, set in gold plated sterling silver. Solid opal is natural opal cut and polished from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap, and it is known for the flashes of shifting spectral colour, called play of colour, that move as the light changes.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique. The stone in your pendant will not be the one shown in the photo, and its colours, pattern and brightness will differ. The photo shows the design of the piece only.

The round stone sits in a smooth, polished bezel setting, with a continuous band of metal wrapped around the edge of the opal. A polished teardrop-shaped bail at the top lets the pendant hang freely. The design is shown on a fine curb-style chain.
