This pendant pairs a round solid opal with a clean, simple sterling silver setting. The 8mm round stone is cut as a smooth, domed cabochon and held in a bezel, where a plain silver rim wraps around the edge of the opal. It sits neatly and securely, and suits everyday wear.

Solid opal is natural opal that is cut and polished as a single piece all the way through, with no backing or cap added. Depending on the stone, solid opal is known for play of colour: flashes of spectral colour that shift and move as the light changes or the pendant moves.

Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique. The colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo, which shows the design of the pendant only.
