This pendant features a pear-shaped (teardrop) solid opal with a smooth, domed cabochon surface, held in a sleek bezel setting. The stone measures 7mm x 5mm. Solid opal is natural opal cut from a single piece of opal, without a backing or cap, and is known for the shifting flashes of spectral colour, called play of colour, that move across the stone as it catches the light.

Every opal in this style is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design: the teardrop outline, the setting and the bail.
