Pair of oval solid opal stud earrings, each stone 7mm x 5mm, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver. Every opal is hand-selected, so yours will differ from the photo.

These classic oval earrings are each set with a solid opal measuring 7mm x 5mm. Solid opal is natural opal cut and polished from a single piece, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and change as the stone catches the light and moves with you.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of your stones will differ from those in the photo. We choose each pair to sit well together, but no two opals are ever quite the same.

The oval stones are held in a smooth, plain bezel, a thin band of metal that wraps right around the edge of the opal. The bezel gives a clean, simple outline and keeps the stone protected. The earrings are made in gold plated sterling silver, and the simple stud style makes them easy to wear every day or dress up for an occasion.
