Bezel-set oval solid opal pendant (stone size 6mm x 4mm) in sterling silver with a curved ribbon bail and curb chain. Every opal is hand-selected, so yours will differ from the photo.

This pendant features a smooth oval solid opal, set in sterling silver. Solid opal is a single piece of natural opal cut and polished as one stone, with no backing or cap. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour move and shift as the stone is turned in the light.

Every opal we set in this style is hand-selected and unique. The colours, pattern and brightness of your stone will differ from the one in the photo, which shows the design only. The stone size is 6mm x 4mm.

The oval opal sits in a plain bezel setting, where a smooth rim of silver surrounds the stone. A curved, ribbon-like piece of metal sweeps up from behind the bezel and folds over to form the bail. The pendant hangs from a polished curb-link chain. This piece comes from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
