This pendant pairs an oval solid opal measuring 8mm x 6mm with a sterling silver setting. A solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light.

Every opal we set in this style is hand-selected and unique. The colours, pattern and brightness of your stone will differ from the one in the photo, so no two pendants are quite alike.

The oval opal is cut as a smooth, domed cabochon and held in a polished sterling silver bezel, a plain silver rim that wraps around the stone's edge. Above it, a ribbon of silver twists in a loose knot and flows into a bail, so the pendant hangs neatly from a fine silver-toned curb chain.
