Oval solid opal pendant, 8mm x 6mm stone, bezel set in sterling silver with a curved ribbon bail. Each opal is hand-selected and unique.

This pendant pairs a smooth oval solid opal with a flowing sterling silver setting. The stone is bezel set, with a fine silver rim wrapped around the edge of the opal. A polished ribbon of silver curls up from beside the stone and folds over to form the bail, so the piece hangs neatly from a chain.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and change as the stone moves in the light. The body tone, brightness and pattern vary from stone to stone.
