Oval solid opal pendant in sterling silver with a bezel setting and open scrolled frame. Stone size 6mm x 4mm; each opal is hand-selected and unique.

This pendant pairs a small oval solid opal with a sleek sterling silver setting. The stone is held in a smooth bezel, with a rim of metal running right around the opal, and a curved open frame rises from either side to form a loop above the stone, giving the design a graceful, balanced outline.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, so the colour runs right through the stone rather than being a thin layer on a backing. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of colour shift and move as the stone is turned in the light. Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of your stone will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the pendant only.
