Solid opal pendant with a 9mm x 7mm oval stone in an open sterling silver frame. Each opal is hand-selected and unique, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant features a 9mm x 7mm oval solid opal, held in an open, angular sterling silver frame. The metal wraps around the stone in a twisting, ribbon-like line with a softly diamond-shaped outline, leaving the opal exposed so light can reach it from the front and sides. A small bail at the top lets the pendant hang freely from a chain.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing layer added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of colour shift and change as the stone moves in the light, and the pattern and brightness vary from stone to stone.
