Oval solid opal pendant in sterling silver with a swirling bail and open teardrop frame. Stone size 8mm x 6mm. Each opal is hand-selected and unique.

This pendant pairs an oval solid opal with a sterling silver setting. A solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap, so the colour you see runs right through the stone. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal we use is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the pendant only.

The oval stone is held in a smooth, polished setting that sits within an open teardrop-shaped frame. A double outline of silver curves around the stone and gives the piece a light, modern look. At the top, a flowing ribbon-like swirl of silver forms the bail, which adds a sculptural touch and carries a chain.
