Oval solid opal pendant, 7mm x 5mm stone, set in a sterling silver open pointed-oval frame with a bail. Each opal is hand-selected, so colours and pattern differ from the photo.

This pendant pairs a 7mm x 5mm oval solid opal with a sterling silver setting. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone is turned in the light.

Every opal we use is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the piece only.

The oval stone sits in a smooth bezel-style rim inside an open, pointed-oval sterling silver frame. Small ribbed bands on each side of the stone add a little detail to the metalwork. The frame is topped with a simple teardrop-shaped bail, so the pendant hangs from a chain of your choice.
