This pendant pairs an oval solid opal with a flowing sterling silver setting. The stone measures 7mm x 5mm and sits in a smooth bezel, with the metal wrapping around it in open, curving swirls that finish in a tapered bail at the top.

Solid opal is natural opal cut from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light. The strength, colours and pattern of that play vary widely from stone to stone.
