This pendant features a smooth, oval-cut solid opal with a stone size of 6mm x 4mm. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap, so its colour runs right through the stone. Opal of this kind is known for its play of colour, where flashes of the spectrum shift and shimmer as the light changes and the stone moves.
