A bezel-set oval solid opal pendant, 8mm x 6mm, in gold plated sterling silver with a sweeping ribbon-style bail. Each opal is hand-selected, so yours will differ from the photo.

This pendant pairs a smooth oval solid opal, 8mm x 6mm, with a flowing gold plated sterling silver setting. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap, and is known for its play of colour: flashes of spectral colour that shift and shimmer as the stone moves in the light.

The oval stone sits in a polished bezel, a smooth metal rim that wraps around the opal and holds it securely. Above it, a ribbon-like curve of polished metal sweeps down from the bail and loops around the top of the setting, giving the pendant a graceful, modern line. The pendant is shown hanging from a fine curb-style chain.
