Solid opal oval pendant, 7mm x 5mm, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver with a flowing curved design. Each opal is hand-selected and unique, so it will differ from the photo.

This pendant features an oval solid opal cabochon, 7mm x 5mm, with a smooth domed top. A solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and move as the stone catches the light.

The opal is held in a smooth bezel setting in gold plated sterling silver. A graceful curved ribbon of metal sweeps around one side of the stone and flows up into the bail, which gives the pendant a soft, flowing outline.
