Oval solid opal pendant, stone size 7mm x 5mm, bezel set in gold plated sterling silver with a crossover bail. Every opal is hand-selected and unique.

This pendant pairs an oval solid opal, 7mm x 5mm, with a classic bezel setting in gold plated sterling silver. A smooth metal rim wraps around the edge of the stone and holds it securely, so the opal stays the focus.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and change as the stone moves in the light. The body tone, brightness and pattern vary from stone to stone.

Above the opal, a crossover bail in a ribbon-like style adds a decorative touch. The pendant hangs from it neatly and the gold-toned finish gives the piece a warm look.
