A pair of oval solid opal earrings, 6mm x 4mm stones, claw set in gold plated sterling silver with a sweeping curved band. Each opal is hand-selected and unique.

These earrings each hold a smooth, oval solid opal, claw set in gold plated sterling silver. A curved band of metal sweeps around the side of each stone and finishes in a small flourish at the top. The two earrings are mirror images of each other. The stones measure 6mm x 4mm.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour move and change as the stone catches the light or as you turn your head.

Every opal in this style is hand-selected at Umoona Opal Mine & Museum and is unique. The colours and pattern of your opals will differ from those in the photo.
