Pair of solid opal earrings with 7mm x 5mm oval stones in bezel settings and ribbed drops, in gold plated sterling silver. Each opal is hand-selected and unique.

These earrings each feature a 7mm x 5mm oval solid opal, held in a smooth bezel setting of gold plated sterling silver. Below the stone, a small link connects to a curved drop with fine vertical ribbing, which adds movement and a little detail to the design.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and shimmer as the stone catches the light and moves with the wearer.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stones you receive will differ from those in the photo. The photo shows the design, including the oval outline, bezel setting and ribbed drop, rather than the exact opals.
