These drop earrings each carry a smooth oval solid opal, measuring 8mm x 6mm, set in a simple sterling silver surround. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, so the colour runs right through the stone. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of the spectrum shift and shimmer as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stones you receive will differ from those in the photo. The photo shows the design of the earrings only.

The oval stones are held in a slim, polished bezel-style setting with a small loop at the top. Each hangs from a fine straight silver bar, which gives a light, elegant drop.
