These drop earrings pair a classic oval solid opal with a simple, graceful gold-toned setting. Each oval stone measures 8mm x 6mm and hangs from a slender bar, so it sways gently as you move. Each stone is held in a smooth bezel setting, a band of metal that wraps around the edge of the opal.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and change as the stone catches the light from different angles.
