This pendant pairs a marquise-shaped solid opal with a flowing sterling silver setting. The pointed oval outline of the stone is cradled by ribbon-like metal that curves and twists around it, finishing in a small bail at the top.

Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal, with no backing or cap. It is known for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and change as the stone moves in the light.
