These drop earrings pair a slender sterling silver bar with a small marquise-shaped solid opal at each end. The marquise, or navette, shape is a narrow oval with softly pointed ends, and each stone measures 6mm x 3mm. It is a light, elegant length that moves gently when you do.

Each stone is a solid opal, meaning it is cut from a single piece of natural opal rather than being layered or backed. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and shimmer as the stone moves in the light. Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stones you receive will differ from those in the photo.
