These drop earrings pair 3mm round solid opals with a delicate leaf-and-vine design in gold plated sterling silver. Each earring has a curving branch with small leaf shapes, and two round opals sit like tiny buds along the stem. A small clear accent stone adds a touch of sparkle near the top of each earring, and they hang from simple hook fittings.

Solid opal is natural opal cut from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and shimmer as the stone moves in the light. Even at 3mm, round cabochon opals like these can catch the eye with every turn of the head.
