Kangaroo-shaped sterling silver pendant set with a hand-selected solid opal, stone size 6mm x 4mm. Each opal is unique, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant features a polished sterling silver kangaroo in profile, with its tail stretched out behind it and a small ear raised. A cut-out detail in the metalwork gives the figure some definition, and a rounded silver bail at the top lets the pendant hang from a chain. The kangaroo balances above a small oval opal, which sits at its feet in a smooth-sided silver setting.

The opal is a solid opal, meaning the whole stone is natural opal from top to bottom, with no backing or cap added. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light and is turned.
