Gold plated sterling silver kangaroo pendant set with a hand-selected 5mm round solid opal. Every opal is unique, so its colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This kangaroo pendant pairs a playful Australian silhouette with a 5mm round solid opal. The kangaroo is shaped in smooth, polished metal with a pointed ear, a long tail and a gently curved body. The round opal sits just beneath it, as though the kangaroo is leaning over a ball.

The opal is held in a plain, rounded bezel setting, a thin metal rim that encircles the stone and shows off its domed top. A solid opal is a single piece of natural opal, cut and polished all the way through with no backing or cap. Solid opals are known for their play of colour, flashes of spectral colour that shift and change as the stone moves in the light.
