Open heart pendant in gold plated sterling silver, set with a hand-selected 6mm x 4mm oval solid opal. Each opal is unique, so colours and pattern will differ from the photo.

This pendant frames a small oval solid opal inside an open heart outline. The opal sits low in the heart in a smooth, rimmed setting that holds the stone securely. The heart is a simple, polished ribbon of metal, so it leaves plenty of open space around the stone. The stone measures 6mm x 4mm.

Solid opal is natural opal that is cut and polished from a single piece, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of the spectrum shift and move as the stone catches the light and as you move.

Every opal we set is hand-selected and unique. The colours, pattern and brightness of your stone will differ from the one in the photo, which shows the design of the pendant only.

The pendant is made in gold plated sterling silver and has a fixed bail at the top so it can hang from a chain. It comes from Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
