These sterling silver drop earrings each hold an oval solid opal, measuring 7mm x 5mm. A solid opal is natural opal cut and polished from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap added. Solid opal is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light.
