These drop earrings feature a 7mmx5mm oval solid opal in each, bezel set in a smooth gold plated sterling silver frame. Solid opal is natural opal cut from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of colour shift and change as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of the stones you receive will differ from those in the photo. Each pair is chosen with care at Umoona Opal Mine & Museum in Coober Pedy.
