A pair of drop earrings, each set with a hand-selected 7mm x 5mm oval solid opal in an open teardrop frame of gold plated sterling silver.

These drop earrings pair a smooth oval solid opal with a graceful open teardrop frame. Each stone is bezel set, with a smooth metal rim that wraps around the opal and holds it securely. Each stone measures 7mm x 5mm.

Solid opal is natural opal cut from a single piece all the way through, with no backing or cap added. It is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectral colour shift and move as the stone catches the light. Every opal is hand-selected and unique, so the colours and pattern of your stones will differ from those in the photo.
