This cross pendant is set with a 4mm round solid opal, held in the centre where the arms meet. Solid opal is cut from a single piece of natural opal with no backing layer. It is prized for its play of colour, the flashes of spectral colour that shift and dance as the stone moves in the light.

Every opal we use is hand-selected and unique, so the colours, pattern and brightness of the stone you receive will differ from the one in the photo. The photo shows the design of the pendant only.

The cross is made from smooth, open loops of sterling silver. The upright and the two arms each end in a softly rounded loop, which gives the piece a light, flowing outline. The round stone sits in a claw setting, with slender claws holding it securely while letting light reach the opal.
