This sterling silver cross pendant pairs a flowing, ribbon-like top with a straight line of small round solid opals. The curved arms and the loop above them give the cross a soft, modern shape. The loop also works as the bail, so the pendant hangs neatly from a chain. The round stones, 3mm in size, are held in small claw-style settings along the upright.

Solid opal is natural opal cut and polished from a single piece of stone, with no backing or cap. Opal of this type is known for its play of colour, where flashes of spectrum colour shift and move as the light changes or the piece is turned.
