These drop earrings pair a teardrop-shaped doublet opal with a long, slender silver bar, giving a graceful line that moves with you. Each stone is set in a smooth bezel that wraps around its edge, with a softly pointed top and rounded base.

A doublet is a thin slice of natural opal bonded to a dark backing, which deepens the stone's background and lets the play of colour stand out. Doublet opals are known for flashes of blue, green and other spectral colours that shift as the stone catches the light.
